This Privacy Policy applies to the Puzzlebox mobile application for Android and the official web portal at puzzlebox.q04ti.dev. Puzzlebox is an independent collection of 12 word, number, logic, and pattern games created and maintained by q04ti.

2. Data Collection & Tracking

We strictly enforce a zero-data collection policy:

• Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or device serial numbers.
• Advertising & Tracking: The app contains zero advertisements, zero ad trackers, and zero Advertising ID (AAID) tracking.
• Analytics & Diagnostics: We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Telemetry, Sentry, or any third-party analytics SDKs.
• Financial Data: The application is 100% free with no in-app purchases, microtransactions, or subscriptions.

3. Storage & Local Persistence

All game data — including solved puzzle counts, active daily streaks, game difficulty settings, and theme preferences — is stored exclusively on your local device using Android's standard SharedPreferences system.

This data never leaves your physical device unless you utilize automated Android system backup tools (e.g., Google Drive Android App Data Backup), which are controlled by your device's operating system settings and governed by Google's privacy policy.

4. Device Permissions Audit

Puzzlebox requires zero sensitive device permissions to operate. A full audit of the Android Manifest confirms that Puzzlebox does NOT request access to:

• Location (GPS or Network-based location)
• Camera or Microphone
• Contacts, Phone State, or SMS
• Photos, Media Files, or External Storage
• Device Identifiers or Biometrics

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Puzzlebox is safe for users of all ages, including children. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy requirements.

Because Puzzlebox does not collect any personal information, behavioral data, or location data from any user, children can safely enjoy the puzzle collection without data exposure risks.

6. Data Control & Deletion Guidance

Because all Puzzlebox progress is stored locally on your device, you remain in complete control of your data at all times:

• Clear Data: You can wipe all local progress and settings by opening your device's Settings > Apps > Puzzlebox > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data.
• Uninstall: Uninstalling the Puzzlebox application automatically removes all associated local app storage from your device.

7. Third-Party Interactions & Sharing

Puzzlebox contains an optional feature allowing you to share your puzzle results (e.g., a text grid showing your Daily Five or Connections score) via Android's native Share Sheet.

When you invoke the share action, only the formatted text string you select is passed to your chosen application (e.g., Messaging, Email, or Social Media). Once transferred, that target application's privacy policy governs the shared content.
